The letters could almost be replaced by numbers, which is why Letter Series is mainly an inductive reasoning task rather than a vocabulary test. Fixed Backward Jumps

B, K, D, M, F, O, ? — neighboring jumps look strange, but odd positions (B, D, F, ?) and even positions (K, M, O) both move +2, giving the answer H. When the immediate pattern looks chaotic, split the sequence — one of the most valuable Letter Series strategies.
Common Error: Overcomplicating the Rule
A, C, E, G has the natural rule +2 — there is no need to invent a complicated explanation involving vowels, keyboard layout, or calendar months. Good reasoning prefers a simple consistent rule supported by all terms, and item writing follows the same principle by avoiding "gotcha" patterns that require arbitrary trivia.
